Khassim Diakhate is a journalist, on-camera
reporter, and content creator from Seattle,
Washington. He graduated from Loyola Marymount
University with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism.
He is passionate about the world of storytelling
and content creation. Khassim has a strong
foundation in sports writing, reporting,
broadcasting, and content creation—working at
TMZ Sports, ESPN, NBC Los Angeles, and Sports
Illustrated.
Background
Khassim’s writing, reporting, and leadership skills
were developed as the Sports Editor of the Los
Angeles Loyolan. Those skills were also
strengthened at TMZ Sports—reporting for TMZ
Sports Online and assisting with TMZ Sports on
FS1. His broadcast experiences include serving as
a host, announcer, and sideline reporter for LMU
Athletics. He also gained experience producing and
reporting at NBCLA, and currently serves as both a
